Normal Green Cheek Conure

The Normal Green-Cheek Conure, also called the Wild-Type Green-Cheek Conure, is the natural, non-mutated form of the species Pyrrhura molinae. It’s a small parrot known for its playful, affectionate personality and beautiful green-dominated plumage.

Description:

• Size: Around 10 inches (25 cm) in length.

• Coloration:

  • Head: Dark gray or charcoal crown.

  • Cheeks: Bright green.

  • Chest: Gray with a scalloped pattern.

  • Belly: Rich reddish-maroon.

  • Back and wings: Vivid green.

  • Tail feathers: Dark maroon.

  • Beak and feet: Dark gray or black.

  • Eyes: White eye-rings with dark irises.

Personality:

• Curious, playful, and very social.

• Bonds closely with owners and enjoys attention.

• Intelligent and trainable—can learn tricks and some sounds.
