The Normal Green-Cheek Conure, also called the Wild-Type Green-Cheek Conure, is the natural, non-mutated form of the species Pyrrhura molinae. It’s a small parrot known for its playful, affectionate personality and beautiful green-dominated plumage.
Size: Around 10 inches (25 cm) in length.
Coloration:
Head: Dark gray or charcoal crown.
Cheeks: Bright green.
Chest: Gray with a scalloped pattern.
Belly: Rich reddish-maroon.
Back and wings: Vivid green.
Tail feathers: Dark maroon.
Beak and feet: Dark gray or black.
Eyes: White eye-rings with dark irises.
Curious, playful, and very social.
Bonds closely with owners and enjoys attention.
Intelligent and trainable—can learn tricks and some sounds.
Less noisy than larger conures but still vocal.
Lifespan: 20–30 years with good care.
Needs daily interaction, a stimulating environment, and a balanced diet.
